Hi friends, I NEED YOUR HELP. 
Please allow me to share details with you about my annual Party For A Purpose Fundraising event. 
Since its conception, over a decade ago Party for a Purpose has helped families, and kids experience the thrill of watching an NBA basketball game live. Party for a Purpose started when a close friend lost her son to gun violence, and I thought, how could I help her continue her son’s positive legacy.  

So, after consulting with a few friends, we decided to create and sponsor a black history month essay-writing contest. The program has been a great success with over 500 kids throughout the years getting to experience a live basketball game from lower bowl seats, getting a meal, souvenir packages, the opportunity to do a Q & A, and take pictures with current and past NBA players.

In addition to the program and with your help, we were able to treat more than 50 families to attend a basketball game together as a unit.

This year 2019 with your help, Party For A Purpose will be supporting Dr Roz's Healing Place.


 Here's Why: 

Dr. Roz’s Healing Place is a not-for-profit charitable organization that has been in operation since 1981. The centre provides emergency crisis and care to women, children and youth emerging from abusive relationships access to a safe living environment conducive to healing and wellness. This facility helps them to recover from violence and trauma through an integrative and holistic approach.
